We are a local Missouri Valley, IA florist with a lovely variety of fresh flowers and creative gift ideas to suit any style or budget! Our family decided to open a full-service flower and gift shop when a building became available in our hometown, and we worked tirelessly to make it happen. We rescued an original building, and our family came together to build the business from the ground up. Floral work has always been a side hustle while working in another career field, and it was time to take that passion full-time. Being able to create and illustrate or bring someone's idea to life is not something to take lightly; if you can do it, the rewards are amazing! It is our pleasure to assist you with any local or worldwide deliveries. For your convenience, we offer daily floral delivery to local funeral homes and hospitals.
The team consists of Minnie, the owner and designer, Joanne, Minnie's mom and part time designer, Cathy, the right hand and super helper. Everyone works with our clients' best interests in mind and works to exceed expectations on a daily basis. We all want our customers to feel they are the most important thing to us because....well, they are! Minnie, the main designer, completed the Iowa Master Florist program in 2015 and with that came experiences such as being on a team that decorates the Iowa Governor's Mansion at Christmas time. There is also the availability to work conventions and annual events in the area as well. But aside from those events, working and listening to clients to understand their basic ideas and needs is where we excel as our customers are the most important thing to us!
Being a part of the community is so important to me. I am a Generation's Hospice volunteer where I donate flowers for clients on a monthly basis. I am also very active in our local community's Kiwanis Club and their current secretary. In the Kiwanis world, I am an adult sponsor for two K-Kids Clubs and two Builder's Clubs that interact with both elementary and middle school aged kids in our area. The kids are our future, and they need someone to tell them they are going to be A-Okay.
